The history of the company

In 2005, after returning from a few years in the kitchens of Relais & Châteaux in Tofino on Vancouver Island, François Paradis decided to share his expertise with Sherbrooke residents by creating the Choco-Là chocolate factory!

First located on Frontenac Street, the store adjoined the laboratory until 2008, before moving and expanding to Wellington Street North until 2013, when another move was necessary.

In 2013, Choco-Là left downtown Sherbrooke to migrate to a larger space in the west of the city.

Now, since September 2023, the chocolate factory has relocated one last time to 2265 King Street West in the Promenades King shopping center.

For over 10 years, Karine and Julien have brought their expertise and passion to Choco-Là.

A master caramel and chocolatier, Karine shines with her organizational skills, leadership and exceptional expertise in customer service. Her speed of execution and organizational skills make her a key part of the team.

Julien, master pastry chef and chocolatier, is a perfectionist at heart. His calm, attention to detail and humor create a serene working environment while guaranteeing products of the highest quality. He watches over recipes and inventories with rigor, always striving for excellence.

Together, we form a close-knit and passionate trio, who ensure that we offer you a unique experience with each visit.
